Where Miami Vice waits for you — a five-star marina hidden in Soline bay, halfway between Split and Šibenik.
Miami Vice is berthed in Marina Frapa, tucked into the sheltered Soline bay on the central Dalmatian coast. The location is the whole point: you're roughly halfway between the historic towns of Split and Šibenik, about 45 minutes from Split airport, and your first swim stop is never far. Head north and the Kornati archipelago and Krka are within easy reach; turn south and Šolta, Hvar and Vis line up ahead of you. Before you even cast off, take ten minutes to walk to the Dragon's Eye — a strange, beautiful saltwater lake in the rocks right next to the marina.

Frapa is regularly ranked among the best-equipped marinas in the Mediterranean. It holds the 'Golden Sail' award among other recognitions, flies the international Blue Flag, and takes part in the Green Sail ecological programme. Ten piers and 462 fully serviced berths sit inside a resort with two restaurants, a sushi bar, a tavern, cafés, a boutique and shops, a nightclub — and the underwater Dragon bar, which you should see at least once. There's also an open-air pool with a bar, a fitness centre, wellness, a hotel, a nautical shop and full yacht service with a boat lift on site.
At the marina
Rogoznica itself is a 20-minute walk along the water (or a short taxi ride if you're carrying provisions). It's a proper small Dalmatian town: konobas and cafés, gelato and pastry stands, bakeries, a supermarket, a green market and a fish market for stocking the galley, plus a pharmacy, a post office and ATMs. Everything you need for the week, none of the big-city crowds.
