What does a yacht charter in Croatia really cost?

Pricing in the Croatian charter market is rarely shown openly — most operators only quote after you inquire. We take the opposite approach. Below is an honest breakdown of every cost you can expect when chartering a yacht like Miami Vice, our Beneteau Gran Turismo 41 (2023), out of Split. Use it as a planning reference; your final quote depends on dates, route and group size.

Base charter rates

The base rate covers the yacht itself. A professional skipper is available on request at an extra charge. Rates vary by season — shoulder months (May, June, September) typically sit 20–30% below peak July and August.

Day charter (up to 8 hrs, Split area)

High season July–August at the top of the range.

€1,900 – €2,600

Weekend (2 days, 1 night aboard)

Includes one overnight in a quiet bay or marina.

€3,800 – €5,200

Full week (7 days)

Best value per day; flexible Dalmatian routing.

€12,500 – €17,500

Sunset cruise (3 hrs)

Hvar channel and Pakleni islands at golden hour.

€950 – €1,200

Skipper, fuel & onboard extras

Fuel is the most variable line item: at a relaxed 18–22 knot cruise the GT 41 sips roughly 70–90 litres per hour; pushing harder takes that closer to 110 L/h. We bill fuel at marina pump price, with no markup.

Professional skipper

Required on Miami Vice; included in most quoted packages.

€220 – €280 / day

Hostess / stewardess

Optional, recommended for groups of 6+.

€180 – €230 / day

Fuel (cruising)

Beneteau GT 41 burns ~70–110 L/h depending on speed and sea state.

€90 – €160 / hour

Provisioning (food & drinks)

Arranged on request; you only pay supplier cost.

€60 – €120 / guest / day

End cleaning

One-off, charged per charter.

€180 – €250

Tourist tax

Croatian statutory fee.

€2 – €3 / guest / day

Berthing in Dalmatian marinas

Overnight mooring fees apply only on multi-day charters. Anchoring in a bay is free; many guests mix one or two marina nights for dinner ashore with quiet nights at anchor.

ACI Marina Split

€110 – €180 / night

ACI Marina Trogir

€95 – €160 / night

Palmižana (Pakleni)

€130 – €220 / night

ACI Marina Korčula

€120 – €190 / night

Marina Frapa (Rogoznica)

€140 – €230 / night

Vis town quay

€70 – €130 / night

A worked example

A typical full-day charter from Split to Hvar and the Pakleni islands for six guests, including skipper, six hours of cruising and lunch provisioning, lands around €2,650 – €3,100 all-in. A three-day weekend with one marina night in Hvar and one anchored night near Vis usually comes to €6,400 – €7,800 for the same group.
